I am a Washington D.C. native and have been involved in the South Florida art community since 1998. Currently residing in Boca Raton, I have studied Art History and Linguistics in Italy, while also traveling extensively to various regions including Brazil, South America, Europe, the Mediterranean, and North Africa. This exposure to diverse cultures has greatly influenced my work. I approach social, political, and cultural issues from a woman’s perspective, exploring themes of energy, spiritual growth, and self-awareness. Through my art, I aim to juxtapose the internal emotional experience with the external world, often focusing on women and their empowerment.

My artistic journey has followed a linear timeline, reflecting my personal experiences and emotions. I utilize women, including myself, as subjects to convey imagery and storytelling. From examining the relationship between female subjects and the political climate to exploring themes of exploitation, spiritual growth, and existentialism, my work encompasses a wide range of topics. Each project is characterized by a variety of media that are carefully selected to enhance the theme and meaning. During the research and production process, new areas of interest arise, leading me to the next body of work.

Working across painting, sculpture, photography, and video production, I do not confine myself to a single medium during each production period. I embrace colors fearlessly, as they allow me to convey emotions, tones, and momentum in my artwork. My paintings incorporate a full range of color using both oil and acrylic. Acrylic brings a flat, solid, and bold appearance to selected objects, while oil provides a sense of flesh, luster, and transparency reminiscent of the human body and natural organic elements. Additionally, I incorporate collage photographs to depict storytelling, past and current events, and mixed media to add texture and dimension. I also capture conceptual abstract images through photography, representing the energy that manifests within me and narrating my journey through travel.

When working with clients, whether it’s for their home, business, or lifestyle, I bring forth my own creativity, diverse influences, and unique techniques to create a composition that resonates with their spirit. I have experience in large productions for high-end clients and celebrities, as well as working in media for advertising companies, curatorial shows, corporate design, and interior decorating.
